Do I need a passport to travel to Morocco?
Travelers to Morocco need a valid passport for the entire duration of their stay.
Passports are compulsory, even for groups on organized tours. Travel agencies must therefore take these regulations into consideration.
It is not possible to travel to Morocco with an identity card alone.

- Children must have a valid passport.
- When traveling with their parents, it is advisable to have a document confirming their relationship (copy of birth certificate or family record book) and an authorization from the father if the child is traveling with the mother only.
- If the child has lost his father and is traveling with his mother, she must present proof of her marriage to the deceased father, a copy of the latter’s death certificate or, in the absence of this, authorization from the judge responsible for the protection of minors.
- If the parents are divorced, it is recommended that the parent accompanying the child have a copy of the divorce decree granting custody.
- If the child is traveling alone or with a third party, he or she or the person accompanying him or her must have an authorization from the parents with their legalized signature.
